VdS institutional Duties and Purposes

CRI's Rescue Volunteers carry out, in compliance with the orders issued by its component, the following activities: 1. promoting, coordinating and carrying out the activities of public health, emergency care and patients transport even in civil protection interventions after calamities or disasters; 2. promoting,in compliance with regulations in the field,the training and personnel preparation activity in the areas mentioned above; 3. organizing simulations, also publicly, related health intervention techniques; 4. organizing and promoting the organized rescue activity and the related competitions on different territorial levels; 5. organizing and disseminating the basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques of lay personnel competence; 6. the socio-sanitary and social assistance activities on the basis of agreements signed with public and private organizations and institutions and psychological distress actions in case of disasters and emergencies; 7. disseminating the international humanitarian law; 8. activities related to the cynophilist rescue,to the water rescue and aid, the mountain rescue and ski slopes and any other authorized special activity ; 9. all other institutional activities approved by the national bodies of each component;
10. all other activities and institutional initiatives conform to the statutory objectives, as previously considered and approved by the related CRI committee.
